While Austrlia’s property price growth has been led by Sydney and Melbourne for this property cycle, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Hobart are the other four cities which have shown healthy growth in the past 5 years supported by positive migration flows. Among these four cities, being bigger in size of economy and city makes Brisbane a more robust property market for investment. Hobart and Canberra may have better growth, but it will likely be outperformed by certain areas of Brisbane.
